Using a Bus Bike Rack

I know this may seem trivial, but I have often wondered exactly how the bike rack system works. MTA has a brochure on how it works and there are a number of helpful videos on YouTube that show it in action. I thought this one from Portland was helpful. It looks like all of them work the same way. Simple indeed.
