More attention being paid to pedestrian-friendly streets.

This is a great story from today's Morning Edition on NPR about the changing attitudes towards pedestrians. It focuses on some of the dangers pedestrians face while walking to and waiting at bus stops. Suburbia was designed with the car as king, but that tendency is starting to change.
